RESTORATION
In general, we try to leave our items in the condition in which they come to us, keeping the character they have gained over many years. We will describe any alterations or repairs that have been carried out over the piece's history. It may be that an item of furniture may need a degree of restoration or perhaps a clock is in need of servicing, and in many cases abbey can arrange for any work to be done at the new owner's request. We are fortunate to have available the services of a very skilled local restorer, and we would be happy to obtain a quotation if you have a particular repair in mind
